Ravens Remain in Contention Thanks to Henry’s Quadruple-TD Outburst, Houston Secure Postseason Spot
The veteran running back ran for a season-high 216 rushing yards and tied a personal best with four touchdown runs as the Ravens staved off elimination by beating the Packers 41-24 on Saturday night.
Henry had three touchdown runs in the first half and then scored again on a 25-yard run with 1:56 left in the game. His seventh 200-yard game moved him ahead of two legendary runners for the highest total in league history.
His 36 rushing attempts constituted a personal record.
The Baltimore Ravens, now 8-8 now must hope the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers fall at Cleveland on Sunday. A Steelers victory in Cleveland would end the Ravens' playoff hopes. If the Browns win that game, the could capture the AFC North by defeating the Pittsburgh on the road next week.
The Packers, falling to 9-6-1 lost their third straight, allowing the Bears to secure the division crown. The Green Bay had already clinched a postseason spot earlier in the week.
Both squads were missing their starting quarterbacks as Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson deals with a back injury while the Packers' signal-caller is in the league's head injury program. The two replacement starters – Baltimore’s Tyler Huntley and Green Bay’s Malik Willis – were both productive in a contest that featured only a single punt.
The Packers' fill-in went 18 of 21 for a personal-best 288 yards and a TD pass, and he also rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns before leaving after re-injuring a shoulder issue. The Ravens' backup was 16-for-20 for 107 yards with a scoring pass.
The difference in the matchup was the Packers' failure to contain Henry, who helped the Ravens outgain on the ground the Green Bay 307-79.
The star running back didn’t touch the ball in Baltimore’s final two series the week before in a costly loss. The proven rusher's lack of fourth-quarter usage was a hot topic locally all week.

The Chargers (11-5) had their four-game winning streak snapped and handed the division crown to their rivals.
The young QB's pair of quick strikes shocked the Chargers and gave the Texans a two-score advantage. On his first pass of the game, he hit a wideout for a long touchdown. He later tossed a 43-yard TD on the following possession.
Stroud connected on his first six throws of the game. He ended the day with 244 passing yards.
